A Minion Perspective Experience

Illumination Entertainment & Beast Kingdom commissioned me to create two large wall pieces featuring the characters from the Despicable Me franchise. The pieces were designed to translate into interactive coloring walls. I was tasked with creating art for the girls room section of the exhibit. The walls are focused on the themes space and imagination.

The art is part of a traveling experience called “A Minion Perspective” in partnership with Beast Kingdom. The exhibit began in Shenzhen, China. Due to it being a huge success the exhibit will now be traveling around Asia. My illustration spans across huge 27′ walls of digital screens. Visitors can stop and color in key characters and elements, once finished they appear on the large screen to make up a community coloring wall.
